Reporting a bug
The more of this you can include, the faster it gets fixed. None of it is mandatory — a vague report is better than no report.
- Your phone model and Android version. Settings → About phone.
- What you did, and what happened instead. The exact sequence matters more than the description.
- Whether it happens every time or only sometimes.
- Your scope's brand and model, if a borescope is involved, and whether it's USB or Wi-Fi.
- A screenshot or a short screen recording, if the problem is visible.
Common questions
Where do I download InspectCam?
On Google Play, for Android: the listing is here. There is no iPhone version.
Is it free?
The free version holds the light on, gives you a live camera view, and takes photos and video. A one-time Premium unlock adds finer control — you pay once and keep it, and the free version is fully usable on its own. See what's in each level.
Does InspectCam work with my USB borescope?
Borescope support is on the roadmap, not in the app today. The compatibility list is where tested models will be recorded, with a date for each. If your scope isn't detected by any app, start with the troubleshooting guide — the cause is usually the cable.
How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?
Premium is a one-time Google Play purchase tied to your Google account, so signing into Play on the new phone and reinstalling restores it. This has been tested: after a full uninstall and reinstall, the unlock came back on its own.

Tell us. Corrections to the troubleshooting and compatibility pages are genuinely welcome — if a fix didn't work on your phone, or a device behaves differently from what we've written, that's worth more to us than a compliment.
We can't repair or replace borescope hardware, and we can't advise on scopes we haven't tested. For a scope that's dead in every app on every phone, the seller's warranty is the right route.
Tell us which scope you own
The compatibility list only contains hardware we've actually connected and tested. If your model isn't on it, email us and tell us which one you have.
